Poetry and prayer may seem similar, but for me they express differently. I am so wordy in my poetry sometimes. I envy poets who can say so much with so few words. Sometimes am able to and it does feel good. I am very proud of those when they happen. My poetry is not prayer. My poetry attempts to put emotions into a form with images. It is me exploring a part…..
One of my favorite verses and prophets: Within them I shall plant my Law, writing it on their hearts. –Jeremiah 31:33, The New Jerusalem Bible On this Holy Saturday, the day between Good Friday and Easter Sunday, I would like to talk about my choices. I have not gone back yet to the parish I left a year ago, but I have now went a few times to the parish I left 23 years ago. The latter…..
August 14, 2015 I got my first tattoo. It was done by my 28 year old cousin who is a tattoo artist. My children thought I was going through a midlife crisis. My husband always wanted me to get one even though he does not have any. My daughter has a small one, and my son has several. So, at 56 years old, I decided to go for it – but, it would be what I…..

This poem for me one of my most private thoughts and still brings tears to my eyes as I seriously consider the choice…..

The third poet I am not familiar with – Angela Morgan. However, I am going to remedy that very soon. So, I would like to share the review with you: Title: By the Pond: (Dreams, Imaginings, Musings) Author: Sidonamarie Publisher:…..

By getting up every day, putting one foot in-front of the other, and find those things that make us smile even in pain, we begin slowly to find our heart again. For me those things were my children, my elementary students, and my poetry. My poetry immersed me in the pain at…..
